A New Dawn has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Over time, it has brought together dancers, musicians, and visual artists, and in 2025 it became a theater performance for Redo and me. In the middle of that same year, I also released my album — the heart of this project.

For me, A New Dawn is about the idea that every day begins again. Each morning, you have the choice: what will you do with this new day? We all have the power to rise and dedicate ourselves to what we truly love and believe in.

This philosophy became deeply personal to me last year, when I had to struggle with melanoma, skin cancer. I had to wake up each morning and trust that things would turn out okay, while finding ways to process some of the heaviest emotions I have ever felt. A New Dawn helped me through that time, giving me a way to transform my emotions into sound, movement, and story.

Now, A New Dawn is a large body of material: an album, music, choreography — a living project that can reshape itself to any space or setting. We love collaborating with others and sharing this work in new contexts. Because of its creative and adaptive spirit, A New Dawn is never the same twice — and that’s exactly what keeps it alive.
