A New Dawn is an exhilarating multidisciplinary duet with constantly changing elements. Just as every new day brings new choices, each performance presents itself in its own unique way.

Movement Exposed wrote: “The wow factor of their virtuosity, the musicality and inescapable humanity of the bodies, make the dance extremely suitable for switching between abstract and material worlds.”

A New Dawn is a collaboration between percussionist DOMNIQ (Dutch Music Prize), break-dancer REDO (De Zwaan), stage director Peter Leung and visuals by designer Noralie.

Continuing success:
A new duo tour in 2025

Thanks to our successful tour in 2022 and 2023, we're extending our journey. After a highly successful tour with the full-scale project, we're creating a brand new duo version touring in 2025 covering both the Netherlands and Asia.

The story continues

In 2021, DOMNIQ and REDO initiated a collaboration titled 'Blurred Lines', creating a video production with Peter Leung for the Dutch Dance Days. This venture led to an extensive tour during 2022 and 2023, featuring performances at major dance festivals in the Netherlands and abroad. The shows included three dancers and two musicians, bringing to life the music of Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Hanna Benn, Deantoni Parks, Binkbeats, Jelle Verstraten, and DOMNIQ. With the insights and materials gathered from these experiences, we are now developing a duo version for our upcoming tours designed for small to medium-sized theaters and festivals in 2025.
